Very nice.

Sometimes you have to make a statement. 😁

BTW we’ve been exchanging PM via Rennlist. Welcome to Carpokes.

Thanks for posting the pix. I've been looking for a shot with Fuchs but haven't seen one in a while, particularly 17". I have 18" 3.6 Turbo (aftermarket) on mine and want 17's so thinking of Fuchs. Who makes the ones you have?
You can buy genuine 17" Fuchs at https://www.fuchsfelgeusa.com/17-inch/#17inchoptions. They also have 18s, which I'm looking at for the 951... although the 17s are a bit less expensive and also lighter.

I've looked at the new Fuchs but the shape of the spoke and rim profile are slightly different. Braid has some nice ones that I think Singer used at one point. Roti-Form has something similar but Fikse FFR look to be a dear ringer to the original, just a tad $pendy so I'm always looking...looking...looking. The RH Alurads I have are rather heavy, but close to the original Speedlines in weight, so also working towards something lighter.

"Rather heavy," ha, ha. The original Speedlines, which I really like, are better used as boat anchors. Just looked at the Fikse FFR. Can't say I like the multi-piece look even if the shape of the spokes is more true to the original compared to the look of the new Fuchs, and a 3-piece wheel isn't something I would want anyway. Add in the prices, wow, they are just out of sight if you go with some of the options. No thanks.

I actually have a brand new set of 18" BBS RS-GT 2-piece forged wheels in silver (20.6# front, 22.1# rear) I was going to put on the 951, but then I found out about the new Fuchs... and really like the look, and they are even lighter than the BBS (18.08#;19.4#). Arg!

WOW, 18# and 19# isn't bad for the sizes...the 18 x 10 Alurads I have on the rear are something like 26!!!!! As you said, boat anchors. I put the original 16's on while I was having some work done on the car and the improvement in reduction in impact harshness and damping characteristics was quite noticeable (higher aspect ratio of the tires also helped). Add lightness!!!!!
Forged one piece would be the best short of carbon fiber, but cf are astronomical in price and I'm curious about impact characteristics since cf doesn't bend but shatters in failure mode.
