I want to perform a 40000 mile service on my 2019 4s. Are there any safe alternatives to safely jacking the rear of the vehicle?
Any alternatives to the quick jack. I am looking at a pair of Jackpoint Jackstands or a 10 inch 2 piece Raceramp wheel crib.
Thank you. 😎

Welcome to your first Carpokes post!

I use Jackpoints - ingenious design. I like mine a lot. They are largely out of the way and extremely secure. The height is considerable (good for getting the work done) but I would highly recommend that you go with four and raise the car equally on all four corners. It just seems better to me for a variety of reasons.

There are a few posts about Jackpoints on Carpokes including this topic:

I will purchase 4 Jackpoint stands per your advice. Thank you for responding. Take care.

I think you'll be pleased. I use the Low Profile pads due to very low initial clearance under my car. Also, a low profile floor jack is generally a must for low clearance sports cars. My GT4 benefits with the low profile pads, especially when the 19" track-oriented Apex wheels are on the car. However, if no low profile (jack or pads) there are workarounds if your car sits too low with insufficient clearance for the jack and/or pad.

If you have specific questions that we cannot answer here, I'd email email John at Jackpoint. He was very helpful - and a good guy to boot!

I built myself some wheel cribs. Cheap and can make as high as needed. Nice and safe to work under now. Of course they are only good for work not needing wheels off. For that I can just lower onto axel stands when needed.

I too have been using Jackpoint Jackstands since I filmed this video a few months ago. I like them, not quite the replacement for my quickjacks but certainly the next best thing!

Watched the Jet Fuel video last night. Was more impressive seeing it in action than thinking about it in theory.

Have the same concerns about adjustable height is nice and easy with traditional jack stands.
