WOW! Very clean engine compartment and overall great looking car. Those Recaro's look great. Does the fixed back cause any comfort issues for you?

Adapt Fuel Pressure Damper and Regulator
Correct! Joe lives about 45 minutes from me. So I got to pick it up in person and meet him and his wife. They are cool. Motorsport to the core!AudiSport wrote: Fri Jan 23, 2026 9:24 am Usual questionwhich front spitter is that? Looks like Joe Toth street version?
Thanks!!! The recaro’s are actually really comfortable for me. They are the ABE model so they fit a little less snug than the usual pole positions. The cushions are pretty dang comfy too. I’m not sure I’d want to do any long hauls in them, but as a weekend cruiser and canyon car - they are excellent!! They have an additional lumbar cushion that can be removed and it really helps.ROB III wrote: Fri Jan 23, 2026 10:01 am @t36

I like the FPR too. Is the screw on top for adjusting? What's the process for getting the desired setting. Do you just install a fuel pressure gauge on the rail and then make adjustments to the top screw until you get the desired fuel pressure? I'm guessing that you make the adjustments while the engine is running, right?
Exactly! Fuel pressure gauge at the end of the rail. Then run your fuel pump without running the engine. (Use a jumper - the one you would replace the DME/fuel pump relay with if the relay failed or I believe some f9t relays allow this by pressing a button). Then adjust the screw on top to desired pressure while the pump runs (stock is 2.5 bar).chrischrischris wrote: Sat Jan 24, 2026 12:09 am I like the FPR too. Is the screw on top for adjusting? Then test the fuel pressure when idling the car. It should be around 2.0.
Then shut it off and leave it for 20-30 minutes - the pressure should still be 2 bar.
Sorry, I should have been more clear. The FPR retains vacuum. Its just the damper that does not.AudiSport wrote: Sat Jan 24, 2026 7:01 am Really surprised not running a boost referenced FPR. I wouldn’t plan on going higher HP with it.
Are you running an AFR gauge to make sure you’re not leaning out ?
