My 1983 944 NA. The interior is pretty much in stock configuration. I did add the three-spoke steering wheel. I had to replace the carpet and front seat upholstery after the car got a bit flooded back in 2016. I changed the front seats to a vinyl material from the stock leather at that time. The vinyl material is more comfortable in the summer months. A color-matched Dash-Cap hides a mess of cracks in the original dashboard. The Dash Mat that came with the car does wonders in reducing the glare caused by the sun on the top of the dash. The previous owner replaced the original stereo unit with a no-name digital media receiver. I managed to find an early 80's Blaupunkt cassette stereo on eBay. It had never been installed and was new-in-box. It looks period correct. I did repair the dash clock by replacing a couple of capacitors and soldering a ground connection. It keeps perfect time now.

Tom, with all that nice red stiching maybe you need one of these: https://www.delawareporscheparts.com/oe ... 47084158yr to replace your 968 CS type. I have one I purchased in 2021. It's a definite upgrade of the CS wheel... at a cost of course ;)

This '78 911 received new leather seats by Heritage Upolstery in Palm Springs, California. In addition, a new leather dash was installed along with a new headliner and sun visors. New leather retaining straps were installed to hold the rear seats in position. The interior rear view mirror was also replaced with a refurbished mirror. Period Coco mats were placed in the front and back as well. The 911 retains its original "shag" carpet throughout. The car also received an Alpine cassette deck radio at some point in the early 1980's. Upon inspection, a TDK cassette tape was found in the cassette storage unit in the console (which remains with the car to this day). I haven't had the guts to try to play it on the Alpine deck!
