Those look great. I went down the Koni route and added adjustable perches. The picture shows them after cartridge and spring perch install where I am touching up the paint (school bus yellow). I will post more pictures once fully assembled.

I also need to touch up my black. I used cardboard and towel to protect the struts while torquing the retraining nut and on one strut it rubbed off a little. I also plan to clear lacquer them.zooklm1 wrote: Wed Feb 18, 2026 8:11 am Those look great. I went down the Koni route and added adjustable perches. From what’s quoted, you guys are on a solid path: Koni inserts with adjustable perches and the Partworks conversion kit both look like clean ways to refresh 944/951/968 front struts.spacecad3t wrote: Can you review this thread and provide input?
A couple practical notes from doing these. If paint rubbed during the gland/restraining nut torque, that’s normal—those nuts take real force and the tools tend to slip. Touch-up is fine; I’d be a little cautious with clear coat on strut housings unless you’re sure it’s compatible with the paint and won’t soften with heat/chemicals. Many clears don’t love brake cleaner.
On the adjustable perches, double-check spring ID match and that you’ve got enough thread engagement/locking (especially if you’re running stiffer springs). Also confirm bump stop and dust boot setup before final torque—easy to forget once it’s on the car.
If someone can post the exact Partworks kit contents and the Koni part numbers used, folks here can sanity-check fitment for early vs late offsets/spindles.

I put the rear Bilsteins in today, from the photos I assumed they were yellow/black, but turns out they match my fronts. Pretty happy I stuck with black and blue decals.
As for the fronts, in the end I decided to go coilover conversion and ordered kits with adjustable camber plates from Ground Control.
