Euro Fog Lights
What specific questions do you have?
I installed a set many years ago.
Wired in a Dick Cepek HD off road relay, powering the lo/hi H4 headlights & H1 fog & driving lights from a single relay.
Installed another OEM aux light switch so the fog & driving lights can be on at the same time.
20 years later...I can't remember the last time I had the car out at night.
For me, these days, the "wall of light" 90/130w headlight bulbs & 100w fog & driving bulbs are unnecessary.
Giving serious consideration yanking the DIY harness, fixing connections in factory wiring and
installing a set of Holley LED headlights & 60w H1's or possibly LEDs in the euro lights.
Still need to run another circuit/switch to the euro lights, as there is only one for fogs from the factory.
Plenty of plug n play harnesses out there...

Thank you very much! Your information and experience is very helpful.
My car is a 1986 944 Turbo.
One of my stock fog lights was severely damaged when a big tumbleweed blew into the car while traveling at highway speed. I have found a pair of Euro Foglights that are much more reasonably priced than the stock variety. The specific questions I have are:
1. Do the euro version fog lights fit exactly as the stock US version?
2. Do the euro version fog lights attach to the car in the exact same fashion?
2. Is the wiring to just the fog light the same as the stock US version? I realize I need to supplement the existing wiring for the DLs.
3. Did you find or create directions on how to add the DLs?
Thank you very much!!
BTW, I am replacing the hideaway headlights with GTS style lights from GTP Headlights https://www.gtpheadlights.com/
Thank you again!

Yes & yes. 2 phillips head screws hold the light to the bumper, IIRC.
There are clear plastic "keepers" on either end of the lights, mine were cracked, might want replace them while you're in there. The screws can be seized, I had to drill the head off one.

If you're not running higher wattage bulbs, factory wiring is fine.
Take a look at the links I posted, a wiring diagram is in there, plug & play harness makes it an easy job.
Google is your friend, searching the web you'll find tons of directions & schematics for wiring auxillary lights.
If you're not comfortable messing with 12v installs, pay a pro to do the job.

These Euro fog lights: do the driving lights pass when "headlights" are required full time (ex. in some countries this is a requirement in the winter season)?
