My KW v3 suspension is great, but it assumes you have either the KW or the stock top hats, and one of the issues with some aftermarket camber plates (like Racer's Edge) is that the decoupling of the spring from the chassis isn't...really preserved at all.

A common solution seems to be "Torrington" bearings: just needle thrust bearings, but a kinda terrible use of them. I'm surprised it's so prevalent.

I knocked together an simple adapter in CAD to fit (after a rather lot of research) BMW p/n 31331090612 (I used Febi aftermarket, but OEM should be fine - just recycle the metal plate it comes with). This is a proper sealed ball bearing designed for purpose, shouldn't need lubrication, and similarly should be designed to handle the environment of a wheel well!

I printed these in GF nylon and ran them while the JLC CNC part I ordered shipped. I didn't notice any deformation or indication that they were not up to the task, but I also don't claim that's sufficient testing or safe.

I highly recommend having them machined, it's like $150 all-in (tariff/phase-of-moon depending) for two. I had them made in 6061, blasted and anodized (would suggest hard ano, I mis-clicked when ordering). The step files were not designed for easy machining, you will need to tell JLC (or whomever) that the inner corners are best-effort and not critical. They (...JLC) are definitely used to it.
