So unfortunately my car is still not on a ship according to TYD.
The SFL Composer is still docked at Emden so there's a chance I get on that one.
It was late docking by a couple of days.

My TYD now says On Vessel 5/13 instead of 4/22. The wait continues.

In the meantime I bought my first ever pickup truck yesterday which I plan to use to bring my 914 to some track days.
Not the most practical of trucks but I thought it was pretty cool.

edit: but sorry about the endless delay on your car. Did you see the targa I posted that went for $60k over msrp with 800+ miles on it? I guess some people would rather do that than wait....

And another thing.... Let's see that 914. You might be surprised by the 914 fans on this board.

I would bet there is still a chance you get on the SFL Composer. TYD seems to be less current than it ever was. My TYD has not updated since Umbrella Guy appeared three weeks ago. It is supposed to start production this week. This compares to sometimes receiving twice weekly updates prior to Umbrella Guy.

In the meantime, enjoy the new Ford Lightning. They are great trucks. Love the color.

Umbrella Guy appears on your TYD screen when the Service is not available. His appearance normally means an update is occurring. However, he can remain on the screen for a day or two before the update processes.

Umbrella Guy appears on your TYD screen when the Service is not available. His appearance normally means an update is occurring. However, he can remain on the screen for a day or two before the update processes.

Thanks for the clarification, I can’t say I’ve seen the umbrella guy before, maybe he’s not allowed in Canada , because he will need a shovel not an umbrella

The SFL Composer left Emden earlier today on its way to Baltimore so I guess we’ll find out soon.

The SFL Composer left Emden earlier today on its way to Baltimore so I guess we’ll find out soon.

Hang in there. My understanding is that it can take up to 3 days after departure for TYD to update. Get in touch with your SA tomorrow and he should be able to tell you if it's on the SFL Composer. Whatever happens it won't be much longer and will be worth the wait.

My SA said he checked today and the car is still at Emden awaiting ship assignment.
I don't get it. That's 2 ships now that have come and gone while it's been sitting there.

Unfortunately if it stays on it's new predicted timeline I won't see it until August as I'm going to be in Europe for June / July.
Oh well.

Fingers crossed that my SA's info is incorrect and the car is on the SFL Composer.
