That sucks. I thought you were done with delays. Any update on an ETA since?
My TYD updated today with an Actual Date of completion for Port Processing of 5/27 so hopefully that means I'm ok.
The dealer expects to have the car by 6/3 and I've got my trip planned to Chicago for the weekend.
Hoping to take deliver on Saturday 6/4 but I'm there until Monday night.
Spoke to my SA again yesterday and there is no additional news / info on my GT3. Apparently, the "Gateway Control Unit" needs to be reprogramed as it is not communicating with the PCM and some other systems. Hopefully, this will not result in an additional delay.
Sounds like you will be ok. Great that you have the extra day on Monday just in case. Did you decide to have the car transported or are you driving home?
Getting it transported. Will be adding some protection to the car this time for the trip.
Should have it for a week or so before I leave for Europe.

Definitely let us know what happens.
My TYD just updated Current Status to "Port Processing." Hopefully, moving right along.
Just heard from my dealer that my car is on the transporter and should arrive at the dealership later today or tomorrow morning so all set to take delivery Saturday morning .
Quick question: While I was organizing the insurance it occurred to me that maybe I should be getting an Agreed Value policy for this car (and maybe I should have on the ones before it).
I have Agreed Value policies on my 914 and F150 Lightning but I've traditionally used State Farm for the other newer cars.
Would be interested to hear what everyone else does.

That's great news. Glad the timing has worked out for you. Please post some delivery pics.
I do have agreed value on my vehicles through Pure Insurance. Different valuation assessments / reasons for different cars. You really need to compare premiums and determine if it is worth it for your needs.
My car completed Port Processing yesterday, June 1st. Waiting for word that it is on the transporter. TYD says by tomorrow but, we both know how timely / accurate TYD is.

That's great news that your car is through Port Processing. My TYD is showing tomorrow too which is what my SA confirmed.
I'll check out Pure. I currently have the Agreed Value cars insured with Hagerty.

Pure is not inexpensive. The reason I am with them is they are the only company willing to write wind / hurricane coverage for us. We live on the sand / Gulf. You may find a less expensive company.

Yeah, we deal with that hurricane coverage issue here (and flood of course) in Charleston too and looked at Pure for our home coverage.

I am insured with Safeco - they are not the cheapest but when it comes to insurance cheap is not necessarily the best value.
I believe you get what you pay for.
For a while I was with Progressive - saved a few dollars but they didn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling.
I don't have "agreed value" - I have actual cash value (comprehensive and collision) and I also have original parts !!!
As a comparison the annual premium on my 2022 Porsche is $2934 my wife's 2022 Lexus NX is $1980
Coverage is identical and "substantial" - got to protect those assets
I've never got a warm and fuzzy from Progressive or Geico.
I've had very good experiences with State Farm.
I checked Leyland (as they're listed on the PCA website) and the online price was 2500 for the 911 GTS with Agreed Value at $194k (I went overboard on options) but if I added the 914 and Lightning that are costing me 1k a year at Hagerty the total price was 3k so effectively it would cost me an additional 2k a year for the GTS.
State Farm for regular insurance would cost me $1320
To me it's worth the extra $680 a year to be guaranteed to be paid out the 194k on the GTS if the unimaginable happened rather than the insurance company's opinion of what the Actual Cash Value would be while they look at a written off car. My fear is they wouldn't take all the expensive Porsche options into account either.
Not an option for my Taycan as I don't believe you can get Agreed Value on your daily driver (at least not through the companies I've looked at so far).
Checking out a few other options before pulling the trigger.
I was having a conversation about the whole Actual Cash Value, Stated Value and Agreed Value options with my State Farm agent.
They asked me to send over the build sheet and their response I kid you not was:
"OK, this scares me for State Farm. Haggerty is probably best for you. We do a great job of insuring cars and taking care of our customers but a specialized company might be best for this. "

Agree with your assessment of Agreed Value vs Cash Value especially during this time of supply shortages and Porsche's (both new and used) selling above MSRP. With Agreed Value you can insure the GTS at an Agreed Value more than the $194k you paid if you desire to do that. In my experience we have Agreed Value on all of our vehicles including daily driver's.
