Hi All,
For those that got the new 2022 911, where are the SD card readers? The manual shows under the arm rest on the center console. Also, it shows on the manual that we have USB ports but mine has USC ports and no SD card readers under the arm rest. Anybody knows if they moved them some place else or do not have them at all.

Mine is a '21, but has all these ports at the rear of the center arm rest compartment. I've been slightly perplexed since I first got the car as to why one might want an SD Card reader in a car? Music? Spreadsheets? PowerPoints?

Thank you guys. Just wanted to confirm. I guess since we have the new PCM you do not need the SD card readers. And @Tom SD card readers are used for music I think. I know my e92 BMW M3 has the SD card reader for that.
One more question and it is out of topic, on the glove box, the lid has some clips on the top end of the lid that could be used to put a pen or flashlight? Do you guys know what that is for?

@Tom is correct. It is a pen holder. Several months ago I spent hours trying to find the Porsche pen that was designed for the glovebox pen holder. Most Porsche pens, including the one that Porsche sent me after buying my car, don’t fit. The correct pen is available at Automobilia. See link below.
