Hey everyone!
Inherited a 951 a few years back that had been sitting for the better part of two decades, and finally have the time to start getting my hands dirty again (just graduated college). Looking forward to learning from you all, and would love to come out to any local bay area events!

There are a handful of us long time (i.e., old) 944 Turbo guys down in the Silicon Valley area. Welcome to Carpokes and to the 951 madness! Post some pics of your car! If we can be of any help along the way, just say the word. :)

Will do! Progress has sort of regressed - initially got it running with some fuel work, then had the bright idea to dig into the engine during the initial Covid lockdown. Unfortunately, I only realized how in over my head I was until after going through it.
I have some workshop manuals handy, and ideally still have all the bits and pieces to fix the mess I made :)

Beautiful car! Is that an original 968 hatch/spoiler or replica? Either way it looks awesome! Always loved Fuchs on these cars.

Was hooked on Porsche's when: Since I was kid...My dad had a 944 when I was born in 89 and sold it. Picked up a 993 in 94' which i vividly remember and fell in love with them since. He recently picked up a 991.1 a few weeks ago and upon driving it I had to get my own. Picked my 991.2 up last week.
