Hi all,

Just found about this wonderful community from another Porsche forum. Seems like a more chill group of people than some of the hardos on the internet. At least for a Porsche newbie like myself. My first Porsche is currently sitting aboard the Lake Wanaka vehicle carrier, making its way across the Atlantic right now, with an estimated mid-July delivery. I love making tweaks and personalizing my cars, so was wondering if there are any must have accessories people would recommend (I initially found about this forum based on someone posting about the custom bezel covers). Here's what I have so far:

Car: Taycan Turbo S in Carrara White Metallic, Bordeaux red interior, with Painted Mission-E Wheels (frankly I like the painted valances of the Turbo better, but carbon fiber is cool too)

Upgrades/Accesories/Mods so far:
1. PPF on front half from factory (should have picked local detailer, I know)
2. Other factory options - front aero kit, aluminum pedals, puddle lights, sports chrono dial in Bordeaux red
3. Modesta Ceramic coating + leather guard scheduled for later this month with local detailer
4. Clear side markers from Suncoast parts
5. Porsche trunk and frunk liner
6. Considering adding the Zyrus carbon fiber front vents (https://www.zyrus.no/?pgc_simply_gallery=turbo-s)

Are there any other accessories people have found to be cool / functional?

Thanks!

Congrats on the new car. FWIW, here is a link to upgrades that I’ve purchased for my 718 GTS. Some may not be applicable to your model. Please reach out if you want more information about any of the mods or photos.
Thanks,
Larry

Thanks super helpful! The "glove box pen" got me. Porsche clearly knows there's a market for people like us who want every single accessory!

Unfortunately, not only can you not get the glove box pen from Porsche, but it took me months to find the correct pen. It’s all about the hunt.🤙🏻

I think you’ve got most of it covered. I have a bunch of kid-protective stuff… seat protectors and seat back covers along with clear side markers and frunk and trunk liners (went with Weathertech owing to the texture and fit, but took off their stickers and put on specially-made Porsche stickers that fit right on). I hate to say the Taycan is pretty perfect as-is, but it just is. I’m more than willing to spend money on stuff for my car, but there’s not a ton more out there.

Here’s what I have done so far:

1. PPF over front of car and the load sill of the trunk
2. 20% tint all around
3. OEM clear side markers (got 15% off at dealer I bought car from to essentially match suncoast price. Dealer installed prior to delivery at no charge)
4. OEM rubber floor mats
5. OEM frunk and trunk mat
6. Aftermarket puddle lights in front doors (displays a color Porsche crest and the words Porsche)
7. Ceramic coated entire car and wheels with Cquartz UK 3.0
8. ProClip phone holder and red USB-C charging cable run to center console

Need to get a pen for glovebox

The aftermarket puddle lights look way cooler than the OEM ones I optioned, which just display the name

I added the Suncoast white side reflector lights and gotta say..maybe I'm too picky.. the angle of the lights doesn't match the body exactly... it's noticeably off..in my opinion. Still looks better than orange

Same here. I love the look of the clear, but it isn’t completely flush with the body. Doesn’t really bother me, but I have no idea why it’s like that. Also from Suncoast and also Porsche OEM

For me, since my model year did not offer the variable light control panoramic roof, I picked up a collapsible shade for the roof from Groovy Shades: https://groovy.com.my/product/porsche- ... vy-shades/

Their site and order process was a bit challenging but I get less complaints from the rear passengers during summer.
