First, this car is a salute to the 1967-1968 Porsche 911R cars. No doubt. I am a fan.

The 2016 Porsche 911R were released with 991 made (it was a 991 so the factory said that many were made).

One of my favorite also. Other than a 993 Turbo S, this one is another one that I would love to have. But the prices on this one are in the half a mill. I was talking to my SA and he said to give it another year and it will be in the 7 figures. :o

We had one at last summer's Carpokes Cars and Coffee... Super nice car for sure. 7 figures buys a pretty nice car collection though....

Awesome car indeed but I don't think it'll be 7 figures within the next year. Maybe decade or so. Maybe. The prices fluctuated on these especially when Porsche released the GT3 touring very shortly after the 911R. I remember the prices coming down pretty quickly from the initial surge, and have picked up steam again due to the market and inflation, as did everything though. The Turbo Sport Classic will likely hit 7 fig in the short term. I know two ppl paying 300k over sticker for one already. Nuts
