That is slick, except my '21 has USB A in the console which is only 5 watts on a good day.

Thanks, I may try one of those, even if I don't get their mount. I have a higher powered C adapter for the footwell socket. It is not an elegant solution, but will work if the phone needs a faster charge.

Here’s some interesting tech info.

For my ‘23 992 there are 2 USB C outlets in the center console.

They are energized when the ignition is on (switched power).

In addition, if you have convenience access, when you approach your car with the key the USB outlets energize also.

Correct is still the same as in the 992 of 2022 and before

This is pretty cool. I usually just put my phone in the center console in the little pocket or pad. Since I love to use my CarPlay. I thought about putting an Appl wireless charger on that pad, so all I have to do is put my phone in it and it will charge it., without me having to plug the wire to charge it.
