Thank you. You are correct on all counts. In my initial wishful "planning" based on allocation issuance I hoped my allocation would coincide with an end of summer ED. A winter ED is not ideal for all the obvious reasons. My wife is disappointed but I have agreed to fill the void with a trip to EUR in May. Everybody is happy.

An update on my CGTS allocation and now non-European delivery due to a lack of scheduled deliver slots through Jun'23. At their request I optioned for the Atlanta Experience Center. Received an email on Feb 3, that the vehicle was manufactured and now at the port. Scheduled "scheduled" delivery is o/a March 31.

Thank you. I am anxiously looking forward to the day of delivery. I’ll catalog my experiences and the lessons learned. As you know Porsche’s build-purchase experience makes the purchaser an active participant. A day does not go by without my checking the Cayman’s progress.

Update: The journey is ending not in Leipzig and Germany's autobahn as planned, but at the Porsche Experience Center (PEC) in Atlanta, on 30 March '23. The PEC delivery outreach is well executed and very responsive to questions. Most helpful to me has been the forum discussions on PPF, and owner improvement tweaks. My "keeper" the S2000 is going on sale to make room for her replacement.

Looked through your build again (hard to believe it's been 2-moths since I first commented on it) and it still looks so very fine! Won't be long now! Are you excited? Ha!

Very. Porsche Experience Center - Atlanta is to be commended for their outreach and responsiveness. I noticed a decrease in the cost of the car and realized it was the dealer-installed options. These are not provided by the PEC, so I am enjoying the research process for mats, liners and the like. I have made post-delivery arrangements for PPF and ceramic coating.

AMAZING…….

ARE YOU SAYING YOUR CGTS 4.0 is scheduled for delivery at the PEC on MARCH 31st??

Are you in the “Morning Delivery”????

Well if so ….. we will be with you that day as another “Carpokes Family Member”. takes delivery of another CTS 4.0 at the PEC.

If so this is really great news.

Attached are a couple of our 2023 CGTS pictures in process build photos……. Shark Blue with Espresso / Cognac interior with Deviated Espresso Seat Inserts…… we can’t wait to see it in person.

I have done a previous PEC delivery of a Cayman S in April of 2019. Having been a long time Porsche Owner and visitor to the Factory multiple times to visit with the Porsche Exclusive Team at Zuffenhausen …...all I can say is the PEC Delivery Experience is a great way to take delivery of your new Porsche.

Will follow this post with an additional posting of our PEC delivery in April 2019 Cayman S manual in Chalk. In addition will included a photo taken last fall in the new Werks 1 Porsche Exclusive Display and Consultation area…….. On the shelf is my current front Michigan license plate “CXX” on display…….Priceless!

Look forward to chatting soon about your upcoming PEC Delivery……sure hope we are on the same day at the end of this month.

Dave

The Delivery at the PEC is truly a memorable experience and I highly recommend it.

As mentioned in my last post…….. here are a few photos of our Chalk 2019 Cayman S that was delivered at the Atlanta PEC in April 2019.

In addition a photo from the Werks 1 Porsche Exclusive Manufactur Consultation Area where my extra Michigan “CXX” license plate is currently on display.
