See post #6 above -- as a perk for joining Carpokes, I'm willing to print blanks for anyone who wants them :) The $10 charge covers postage (in the US) plus materials costs. You'd then need to paint/cover it as desired and add the velcro, etc. I'm running several sets today so should have a handful to ship tomorrow. :)

Not sure what Bob used to paint it, but it looks like a darn good match for the surrounding material. Maybe he'll share. :) If anyone wants a set, PM or email me and I'm happy to print/send a set of unpainted blanks for $10 to cover shipping (in the US) and plastic. :)
Thanks for the hard work guys!

For some reason I can't get to your e-mail. Is it because I am new here?

I want to see if I can get them stay in the holes by using magnet

You need 3 posts to send private messages, but anyone can email me anytime at admin@carpokes.com. I'll pencil you in for a set, and wait to hear from you to make arrangements. I could also customize the plug if needed to accommodate a magnet better, if you had something specific in mind.

Magnets sound like a good alternative to velcro but keep in mind they cannot be too thick. If someone has an idea of what magnets to use please post that info here. I think that they should be no more than 1/8" thick (both sides).

Is there anything for them to stick to underneath, without attaching something metal in there yourself? 1/32" magnets are a dime a dozen these days. (Actually, that's just an expression, nothing is a dime anymore sadly.)

No, it is all plastic so a magnet would be needed on the underside of the plug and on the mounting surface.

Or maybe just a thin piece of metal cut to shape and hot glued on top, assume that could be done without interfering with how the latch functions. Although Velcro seems simple and effective, so I dunno....

That would work Tom but the more I think about it the velcro is probably best...no need to try and improve upon what works well! I tested them this past weekend and can verify they stay in place at triple-digit speed.

On a close course and solely in the interest of product research I'm sure. :)
