Weekend replacement Oliver Bearman scored points in his first career F1 race.

.......and fittingly Bearman wins "Driver of the Day " on Sky Sports fan voting. 6th through 9th were all British drivers and one has to admire that island nation of 67,000,000 for their success in F1 over the decades.

Heh, with a last name of Pemberton, and the bulk of my DNA from the UK I had to throw that in there, ha!

Should boost prospects for Sainz. Still, leaving Ferrari is not great and Red Bull is not a likely bidder I suspect. 2025 will be an interesting driver shuffle .

been interesting for Ricciardo and Hamilton so far. Curious to see if this is their "use by date".....

Rumor is Helmut Marko has given Riccardo two more races to prove his worth . If he doesn't perform supposedly he gets yanked and Liam Lawson gets the seat .

Rumor is Audi/Sauber have made a formal contract offer to Sainz . Supposedly he has until mid April to consider/accept the offer . Being the lead driver for the Audi works team could be a great move for Carlos but the early years will have teething pains .

Mercedes has sure lost the recipe. Wonder if they can/will figure things out. Not looking likely lately.
