Great looking 911 Carrera, seeing a well preserved one in Guards Red is great given all the black and white vehicles that seem to be everywhere these days. I happen to have a European 1986 Carrera M491. I have a picture posted above.
Your wheels look like they might be a 17 inch version of the classic Fuchs wheel. If correct can you share the manufacturers name and sizes of your wheels?
I didn’t do a search…. What is model under the cover.
Thanks for sharing.

I saw your Euro Carrera. Its stunning!!
You are correct, they are 17". They are Euromeisters Fuchs Replicas in 17x7 ET23.3 and 17x9 ET15
I got the wheels from Rose Passion in France, but i'm not sure they still sell them in those sizes.
I really like the way they look with keeping the original Fuchs style, but larger diameter and a bit wider.
Under the red cover is my very original and pristine 2006 Carrera S with 16k miles. I'm the original owner from October of 2006 and keeping this car in as perfect and low mileage condition to give to my son someday.

Some comparison pics of stock 16" to these 17" wheels:

Red over black 3.2 Carrera may be my all time favorite car. Simply stunning (and nice garage)!
Edit: how did you find it? Auction?

It was the mid 80's Guards Red 911s that created my original love for Porsche and 911s. It stays with me to this day.
I found this car on Bring a Trailer in December of 2019. I was the high bidder of the auction, but it didn't meet the reserve. I was then able to work a deal with the seller to purchase the car at a higher price and had it shipped to Colorado where I live.

Funny story: When searching for a 992 last year, my wife agreed to let me get a 3rd 911 provided that it WASN'T RED. lol. I ended up with Chalk, which is just so different. Tom, part of why I want some red accents on the interior. Just love red.
