I received the car last week.
I've done a few things since then.
1. Swapped out the Coco mats for some OEM mats. My heel was catching the Coco mat.
2. Hardwired the radar detector using a Mirror Tap.
3. Swapped out the clear tails for the red ones.

Will be dropping off for PPF today.

Getting ready:
Cleaned dirty wheels then waxed them without drawing blood. Next was wash exterior, and with synthetic clay bar gave it a rub down to prepare it for the wax application. Time ran out and called it a day.
Next day was the interior:
Started by washing the dashboard which gets dirty when you own a cabrio. The defrost vents was a challenge and required the use of a tooth brush. This was when I figured out how to use my Tornador with my compressed air. It blew away dust, dirt left behind and stray water. Feeling good with the progress so far the seats were attacked. Washed and wiped down 3 or 4 times made a big difference before I applied leather conditioner. The one day get the car ready for the summer cleaning morphed into 3 days.
Days four and up:
Today started by putting top down again, removing floor mats and the small seat backs in the back seats. I fired up the Tornador again so I could blow out embedded dirt, pollen, pine needles and other crap. This alone was was fruitful. Not stopping now, I pulled out my wife's rug cleaner which most puppy parents have tucked some where in the basement. Immediately I was a pro. I started with the rear floor mats in the driveway apply cleaner, agitate mat, suction out the filth and repeated several times until water is applied and suctioned close to dry. This was repeated inside on the car's rug areas. i used large bath towels to speed up the water removal. It looks friggin great. Two days later, all dry, in not show room clean, but certainly used car condition.
I'm tempted to unplug the car and take it for a small ride like maybe South America.

This past Thursday I took my 991.2 base coupe to Bradenton Motorsports Park for their Thursday night test and tune. I was very pleased with the results considering it only makes 365 hp and since it’s a base, there’s no launch control. Made three passes all of which were very consistent. A/C was off and Sport mode was on as was traction control. First pass it ran 12.523 @ 111.89. Second pass it went12.525 @ 111.57. By the time I made the third pass the ambient temperature had dropped from 85 to 78 degrees and the car actually went a little faster. Third pass it ran 12.499 @ 112.51. On each pass it crossed the finish line in fourth gear at 6,000 RPM and showing 13 lbs of boost. One thing I did find interesting was that around 1,000 feet the boost dropped to 11 psi but just for an instant. If anyone has any thoughts on that, I’d love to hear them.

Thanks for posting the pics. I have a 2014 991.1 CS White with Yachting Blue top and leather Interior (love their choice of names). The original owner checked every box - from X-51 to PCCB, PDCC, PASM, PTV Plus, PADM, Sport Chrono Plus, PDLS, 18 way seats plus much more - an alphabet soup of options...
I was toying with the idea of swapping out my red tail lights for the clear, so your pic helped me make up my mind - staying with red. I did swap out the amber side markers for clear and that looks great.
Enjoy taking her out and stretching her legs!
