Does it come with everything in the kit, as new? Wire connection?

I'll have to check, I use the SAVVY for my V-1's so I don't use the wiring that comes with them, I didn't remember wiring coming with the Blendmount. I have lots of wiring connectors for the V-1 and can throw in whatever you need.

Your particular model goes with the manual dimming mirror and mine is auto dimming. Not sure what the difference is. They look identical in the pics.

That was what I decided too.

If the pictures on Blendmount are accurate I think your mount clamps to the mirror stem . My mount needs to attach to the mirror base right tight to the glass.
My 996 has a Blendmount I purchased used and it mounts right tight to the glass on the mirror base . My 996 and 986S have the same manual mirrors .

My 718 GTS 4.0 had autodimming but not the 987 or 081. I was confused with their website when I ordered this originally, and it shows a different one for the Cayenne, but they are the same, because I have one on my Cayenne. If you like, I'll send it to you for you to check, and if it doesn't work, send it back, if it does, you can pay me.
Let me take one more look at the Boxster mirror mount and compare to the pics on blendmount . I will get back to you tomorrow

Bill in Bama I don't see your mount fitting my Boxster . The old vs new mirror mounts are just different and then the difference of auto dimming vs manual . Sorry it didn't work out .

I will say the Blendmount is the best solution I've ever found for hanging a radar detector in a car. No suction cups, secure under all circumstances, easy to access power from overhead (or run the power wire down the windshield perimeter to the OBD port like I do to use the SAVVY. I have a C43 AMG and Blendmount doesn't make a mount for Mercs like mine, so for the present I'm using the V1 suction cups but I'm not happy.

^^^ absolutely . I have a blendmount in my 996 , it is strong/solid . The V1 easily slides in and out . That's why I wanted another one for my Boxster . That way the detector can easily be moved to whichever car I am driving . I am bummed yours wouldn't fit mine . Your selling price is giving it away . GLWS
