What was your childhood dream car?
I don't really remember a childhood dream car, but I recall being at my uncle's house when I was about twelve years old and someone pulled up in a beautiful small sports car and he took my uncle, cousin, and me for a ride. I later found out it was a Porsche(356), and although it was not a dream car, I always wanted a Porsche.

My first ride in a Porsche was on a mountain road in a show-winning Karmann hardtop 356, with brand new Pirelli CN36 tires. I was hooked right then and there, even if it seemed like an unachievable far off dream at the time .nvbirdman wrote: Sun Jun 05, 2022 7:49 pm I don't really remember a childhood dream car, but I recall being at my uncle's house when I was about twelve years old and someone pulled up in a beautiful small sports car and he took my uncle, cousin, and me for a ride. Always loved the 911 and a 911T was my first. My father had a Ferrari Daytona at the time which I drove and loved as well. Wish we still had both!

Took me nearly 35 years to get my boyhood dream car, a 911. By the time I got it, it was far better a car than I ever dreamed it would be.
