For my door panels which were in terrible condition I coated them in fiberglass epoxy.
Didn't even add any fiberglass and it worked quite well to make them pretty strong.
For the door push pins I used metal washers to reinforce the holes as most were pulled through.
Finally around the window switches I found a 3d print which I was able to glue (maybe it was Jbweld) which made the door switch trim go on perfectly. If I can find some pictures I will add them.
Here is the 3d Print I used for both doors (just have to mirror for left side) .

I printed the thingiverse model for @EuroFighter2003 and will be quite interested to hear how they work. If less than great, I might do my own version. There are some real gems on thingiverse, but you have to fight through a lot of 'unpolished' models (ahem) to find them. Time will tell which category these fall into. Thingiverse only has one side posted, so I mirrored the part on the printer so there is one for both sides.

Last week I would have killed for a set of those 3D printed switch surrounds! Not sure how I missed this post. Spent the last couple days fiberglassing, cutting and a dremel to fix mine! Post with pics to follow
All but one of my push pins on the driver door are missing. That's the next part to hunt down.
Edit: Looks like they are readily available. This is what I want, correct?

I'm also interested to see how washers were used to reinforce. I planned to just use glass cloth.

@PSU_Crash : Those look like the right clips, from what I can see in PET, but you may want to have a look here for parts -

You did it! Welcome aboard. I'll PM you in the morning and get you a set printed... Have a look around in the meantime. FB is fun and all, but this is the place for 944 owners!

Sorry just saw this!
So I just found some metal washers that fit the door clips perfectly and glued them on in the perfect spot which was a PITA with the amount of damage I had. Probably not the best way to do it but the resin in the shop had likely killed the last of my brain cells. Wish I had some pictures but I can't find any and I have no plans to ever take the doors apart again lol

I'm with you on never taking the door apart again! Unrtunately, it seems my car has an early driver's door or maybe 924 since the pocket doesn't fit. At some point the parts car door will be swapped on.
