By holding the button down for a long time until the windows are closed again

Mine is a new one where you have to take off the two side pieces to get at the plate covering the battery.

So I got both new batteries in the key fobs but the low battery warning is still coming up when I first start the car.
Any ideas?

I found this interesting so I asked the dealer and he said we don't get that in the US. Go figure!

I buy a 10-pack of batteries from Amazon. I always replace the spare key at the same time as the main key.

Good idea. I think they are dying because they are hung just inside the garage door.

I agree although I sure missed that tech. It may be searching to find the car when near the car?
I have noticed that the Porsche lights up when I walk past it with my wife's Mercedes car key fob (it uses the same type of battery + the same technology?).
