These 924/933 cars were very competitive in Porsche Club Racing (GT5) years ago. I did engines for several that ran in the front, even drove some of them. I ultimately opened the bores to 2.2L which was the class limit at the time. They were quick and quite reliable. The 933's were also very affordable at the time, but that changed. Manfred Freisenger (Freisenger Motorsports in Germany) bought up all he could find, restored them, and now offers them for BIG money. A few collectors have picked them up but I don't know of any currently being raced.

Anyone know of any 933's unrestored and affordable??

Will be interesting to see if buyers show up at the last minute this time around, as the current $6,300 bid would be a give-away. Either way, I'm please to see the Carpokes livery (C/P) on the car. :lol:
