Note it’s a 28 pin DME.
I'm hopeful his DME/KLR survives, but if needed I can port 24-pin images over to a 28-pin chip.

Thanks everyone! I opened the DME and KLR and applied isopropyl alcohol 99% with a toothbrush to the boards. The boards looked good even before the cleaning, but there was definitely some water in there. They are indoors and spent time on my home radiator and so should have zero moisture inside when I try to start the car again tomorrow. If no start, I will try the trick of jumping the KLR pins, thanks for that tip!

If the car doesn't start, then I guess my options are to source a new DME. Initially I thought that the flywheel sensors failed, but that seems unlikely compared to a water induced fault with the computers.

I live in Connecticut but brought my car to Germany for fun. This isn't the "fun" I had anticipated, but hoping it all works out and thankful for the carpokes community. I've met some great porsche enthusiasts here over the past several months too.

Some photos of the area behind the driver seat that seems to be an emergency drain cap embedded in undercoating, etc. I poked a small hole in the white plastic which can repaired, but wondering if this is a cap which can/should be replaced and then covered back with waterproofing material on both sides.

Photos are from behind driver's seat. Two inside and the last is looking up under the car.

Ah, that's not the panel I was thinking of. Let me see if I can figure out what when in there in no one chimes in on it... Anyone?

The isopropyl alcohol worked to clean and dry the circuit boards. The car is running and seems to be just the same as before the flooding. Really surprised at the durability of the electronics. I will plan to replace the DME with a focus 9 in the near future.
