LOL, I am the same. I have an Apple music subscription and download all sorts of stuff. I don't like fiddling with controls when I am driving so I either put on a playlist or just hit shuffle for the whole 25 GB. Sometimes Def Leppard just doesn't flow into the Queen of the Night aria from the Magic Flute. So I hit the diamond.

Really wish I could map it toggle CarPlay on and off the screen. I know in newer models you can, but my 2018 is out of luck.

My understanding from the Good to Know app is that only PCM and Instrument cluster functions can be programmed. Besides, Sport Plus is a simple quarter or half click on the dial of joy.

With my X431, I can assign extra functions to the Diamond button, to the MD ( I have Macan turbo)
