Here are a few from 2023 944Fest

What a great photo and what track was the 944fest held at? I imagine with so many similar beasts one had to Porsche , er, push the envelope to win any of the races?!

88 na with a 07k and 991 brakes. It’s getting close to being finished

There are lots of nice touches from seats to wheels, to a wicked wing, but my favorite is the great shifter knob That style is one of my favorites, and a high preference imho for track use. I am looking forward to seeing the finished product and are you going to finish in it in all black?

Thanks so much. It’s been a long journey. The car will be white with piano black roof and a/b pillars. Waiting on my turbo header to be made and I’ll be on the road. That’s the main reason I went with a tall shifter knob. I made it out of titanium and I’m using a Lindsey racing shifter. I’m raising the mounting point on the shift rod about an 1” to make the long shifter throw shorter and also making that connection bushed/serviceable with three bearing surfaces.

Impressive build on the shifter and the white with black top sounds like a very current style and it should stand out at Porsche events. We shall all enjoy seeing your progress and one last thought , were you going to go with the rear spoiler in black also to accent the rear section?

Thanks for posting! Would love to hear and see more about the motor. I've heard of people doing that swap, but never really followed closely as to why its a good match for the 944?

The spoiler and trim is carbon. I think the trim with be the gloss black and spoiler will stay carbon. The lower rear valance may be gloss black. I’m up in the air on that.
