Thanks ya'll....but I would be remiss in not pointing out that credit where credit is due here folks - all the production work is Andrew's. He's the man behind the video / image editing, responsible for putting pretty much all this stuff together. I'm lucky to be a part of it!!

Cheers,
Luke

Thank you, Luke.

To be completely transparent, though, there has been a lot of "ok that didn't work out, go around again please" over the radios. And Luke has dutifully complied many times. Going in late July and August means there has been a ton of tourist / RV / motorbike traffic on some of the good roads, and that really slows things down. (all that to say, a lot of patience and diligence is required on the part of everyone involved in these shoots)

The adventure continues...

We finished with the alps (well, hardly truly finished, as I don’t think one could ever tire of those roads!), and made our way northward towards the Eifel region in Germany (where the Nurburgring / Nordschleife are located).

We made a quick pit stop to the Zuffenhausen district of Stuttgart - where our twin 718 GTS 4.0s were built. It seemed only fitting to release a quick clip honoring their birthplace!

Many thanks to @wdr911 for suggesting that we do a photo/video sequence in front of the Porsche Museum.

Worked out rather well!

What no pictures or the Eifel Mountains? Sure we all know about the Nordschliefe , but spending 3 or my formative years growing up in that area I know the road in those Mountains can be as challenging a fun in a Porsche as running through the Alps --- the switchbacks and curves can come even faster in smaller mountains. Thanks for another great update and I hope you stopped in Bitburg for a cold glass of Bitburger Pils ---- Bitte ein Bit !!

Ture true, but we just didn't have enough time...guess we will have to go back! There are just too many good roads on that side of the pond. I fear my Boxster, when it gets here (to flat Ontario) will be like "WTF dude????"

Somehow the GTS Chronicles will likely morph into the Canadian Chronicles and there will be many a road in North America explored and, yes , Chronicled, for Porschephiles to wander along with you two again!! Great stories and soon it will be time to get back on the road again!

Hi all,

Here's the next landmark moment in our big adventure...an accounting of a pretty darn important stop on The GTS Chronicles European Delivery tour - a visit to the Nürburg area and the incredible Nordschleife. Three days of taking in the region, the vibe, the people, and of course, experiencing laps.

As always, we've got an Instagram post....
