It's easy to replace the hose, but certain to break again if not modified.

I suggest you fix the trim piece that causes the break, so it won't recur.

@ReidMcT Thank you! Great information!

Update, the dealer is replacing under CPO. There is another leaking piece next to the reservoir they needed to order, so I will go back next week for the final fix. Without a doubt I certainly will modify the trim piece as in the references to avoid this situation in the future.

Yesterday I had my windshield replaced. This time I did not use the dealer because I did not want them to put my wheel alignment back to stock.

I had a two days schedule on track this coming weekend but due to a pending rain storm that got canceled. A new possibility of one day on track has emerged, hope that happens. Still have Laguna Seca scheduled for next weekend.

I took my car in for its low milage four year service. I decided to use my local indie shop - they were over $1,000 less than the dealer. The service included an inspection, oil change, new spark plugs, brake fluid flush, and new cabin and engine air filters.

Started out on Sat with a run that include multiple 911s, a Boxter S, CGTS, 2 GTSRS, 2 Lambos, 2 McClarens, Aston Martin, Vantage, BMW M3, Cadillac Blackwing and a Corvette Z06.
They were on a 2.5 hr drive not including the drive back from up by Breckenridge and I only had a few hr to spare. Cut off in the middle and went over Guanella Pass to come back home. Up above 11,000 ft there is a smattering of snow and a storm was rolling in. Stopped by a hydroelectric lake before getting back to civilization. Fun run of over 150 mi..................need more time on the weekends!

Every time I get in and drive the 718 GT4 (and the GTS), I am reminded as to why I love these cars so much. The well laid out and comforting interior, the easy to read (and classy looking) gauges, the satisfaction of driving a perfectly balanced car, the responsiveness, the relative simplicity and a whole lot more. The 718s look so very good too! :thumbup:
