Great video and what a memorable trip! Thanks for posting. Are you planning on posting reviews of your cars?

Hey Larry, there's been a million reviews on these cars (I know, I've watched them all!) so I think we won't do "reviews" per se, rather perhaps we will try to clarify some of the myths or misinformation out there. As well, I am alternatively trying to capture MY feelings about my car in my own "blog"-style posts which I have been putting up here under the "retrospective" subject - which will morph from retrospective to real-time now
Must get on that actually, as it is time for a new one!

Ok, Luke you aren't done yet, where is the new post, I am anxious to hear all about the little nuances since I just got my new Cayman GTS 11 days ago. Still have a smile on my face but interested to hear perspective of a very experienced 2 month old owner, ha!

Well, the summer's grand double-GTS European Delivery journey had to come to an end at some point. An early morning drive from the Nurburg area to Stuttgart, a quick final washup, and a dropoff at the BLG logistics facility in the suburb of Sindelfingen. And then it's time to wait until the cars show up here at our dealer in Canada.

You two had a grand adventure for sure, chronicled like few others will ever be. Well recorded memories. Thanks again for sharing the journey!
Now, the waiting for the next phase - delivery to the new homes for the 718's! Safe trips home for all!
The Big Reveal!

Hey all... it's been a long time since an "official" GTS Chronicles post has come out.
Back at the end of October, Luke and I took a trip down to NB (a province in eastern Canada) to reveal Luke's long-held secret: that instead of simply accompanying me to Germany to receive my 718 via Euro Delivery, that he actually accompanied me but bought his own 718 alongside my car. His parents - who had long encouraged Luke to get his ultimate dream car - had no idea about any of this. Not being big social media users, he was able to keep the whole three-year long journey a complete secret from them.

Love Luke's mom, reminds me of my mother and years back when I traded her my Datsun 2000 for the family VW Camper. She hung onto it longer than I had it and would always comment on how men and women would always give her a thumbs up when she passed them --- because she never went the speed limit, ha.
Cool parents, fun reveal and thanks for sharing here on Carpokes!
