I took my battery out of my GT4 because it ran out of juice and now I am waiting till labor day sale to cop a Lithium Battery
Looking forward to seeing which battery brand and model you select.
Waiting to grab an Anti-Gravity H6 60Ah, hoping my car accepts it without fuss

Did you give up on the idea of the Lithium battery you mentioned earlier?

Oh that IS the Lithium battery I was planning on. That being said, not sure if I will get the 40Ah or 60Ah. From what I gather, a lithium battery has an effective capacity almost double that of the AGM found in the 718. So the OEM 70Ah could potentially be replaced by a LiFePo 40Ah and still carry just as much “juice”. The difference between the 40 and 60 is about 1.5lbs and another $120 but it’s a consideration.

I did have an Anti-Gravity battery from my 991.2 GTS car I just sold. I bought at the end of 2020. It's an H6 60Ah. I wanted the larger size just to eliminate any chance of having to charge it at home. I think it weights about 18 lbs. Amazing how light it is.

For some unknown reason I was mixing up absorbed glass mat and A-G lithium batteries. Disconnect. I'm back to reality this morning.

The last battery charger I bought supports lithium batteries just in case I took the plunge with one of my vehicles. Part of me does not want to take a risk with an unknown in the battery department, part of me wants to save the weight. Curious how you get on with the anti-gravity. Ebay had a bunch of no-name lithium batteries that had the BMS included for less than half the price of the anti-gravity. One of the Air cooled forums I frequent users posted good reviews.

I went for a drive. We joined the Gold Coast Region in a drive to Sanibel. They do a good job every year. Sanibel Island is still recovering from Hurricane Ian. Four hour drive there Friday and back today. Great drive.
