Hello World!
My name is Lee. I currently own 2 1986 944 turbo (1 running and 1 with broken timing belt). My first Porsche was a 1988 924S I purchased in 1998. I also have a 1992 Mercedes 500E (the car Porsche built for MB). I do all the mechanical/maintenance work myself. I am building a workshop, which I hope (based on weather and job demands) to have the first phase (inspections completed with CO) completed by the end of March. Phase 2 (insulation, finished ceiling/walls, 2 post lift and heat) complete by late summer. I am located in the Huntsville AL area.
Thanks
Welcome aboard! I have a 944 Turbo, 992 and 450SL, and just finished the build out of my garage too, so you are among kindred spirits here! Add your garage to the garage thread!

Hi Lee,
It sounds like you have a bunch of very cool cars. I test drove the Porsche built Mercedes 500E many years ago. It was a fabulous, rare and expensive car then. If you get a chance please post some photos of your cars. Welcome to Carpokes!

Hey guys! Not new to the Porsche world, previously had a 2018 Panamera GTS, which I traded in for a Taycan Turbo. Also currently have a BMW 650i Gran Coupe and my wife drives an X5 m50i. Kind of run the gamut of cars honestly. Other previous cars, in order, include a Honda Accord, VW GTI VR6, Audi S4, Infiniti G35, BMW 335i, Benz E550 and Audi S7

Hi Fellow Porsche fans.
My name is Philippe. 42 years old and Belgian (Flanders).
I own a '92 Amazon Green 968 Coupe since 2006, she has about 220k km on the clock.
I do almost all work on it myself, so I dare to say I am pretty familiar with these cars.
Looking forward to have a chat a share knowledge with you fine gentlemen. And ladies of course.

Hi guys.
My name is Vishal. I’m new to the forum.
I’m a huge Porsche fan and have owned a 996 c4s, 992, cayenne GTS 1st gen, and a Panamera Turbo.
I’ve just ordered a Taycan sport Torismo 4s with an expected delivery in May 2022.
I never thought I would buy an electric car but with all the tax breaks, congestion charge zones in the UK, it just makes sense.
Since I have to buy an electric car, I’m so glad Porsche came out with the Taycan. Hopefully it will be as fun and enjoyable ownership experience as my previous Porsches.

Hi Vishal and welcome to Carpokes. A lot of Taycan owners have found there way here. Be sure to check out the threads regarding the sports chrono bezel options to dress up your interior.
Thanks,
Larry

Hello! I'm Craig and live in Nashville, TN. I'm originally from WA State. My first Porsche was a '67 912 purchased in 1985. Purchased my current Porsche in '94, a '65 911. Figured that I'm 3rd or 4th owner. I have a great time driving the twisties and around town. Cheers!
