Greetings from Massachusetts. I bought a 2013 911 Carrera. I only got to put 500 miles on it before the first road salt event. So, all I can do is go to the garage and talk to it! This baby has never seen road sale and never will. I do need guidance from the forum members: the stock exhaust on my car has no character to it at all. It sort of sounds like a Corvair ! What does everyone recommend for aftermarket Porsche-approved (still under extended warranty) throat-ier exhaust? Thanks. Ian

Welcome aboard Ian! I'll offer my 2 cents on the exhaust in your exhaust thread. :)

Welcome to Carpokes! I have a feeling that your user name somehow slots into the Air Force pilot days but I haven't figured it out just yet. Hah!

Join in the fun and discussions if desired but whatever you choose, we're glad you're here.

Welcome Birdman from an AF Brat who graduated in 1970, so another older low level flyer. Dad was a Wild Weasel and if you were flying F4s I am sure you are acquainted with those guys. Welcome and am also an ex Insurance Agent/Financial Planner who was drug back into the car business by a fellow racer friend of mine. I thought about becoming an Attorney as then I would have covered the three most loved business individuals in the World -- Car Salesman, Ins. Agent ,and a Lawyer,ha!

Welcome! Always glad to see another transaxle owner join. There are some VERY KNOWLEDGABLE 924/944/951/968 people on the site and all are helpful.

I am in Old Hickory so yes, M'boro is just a bit up the road. It was different back then, better I think due to the insane growth since then, but still a good place to live with plenty of country further out from the growth.

Ahhh Phantoms - one of my favorite aircraft, a powerful and muscular aircraft if there ever was one. They served long and well. Congrats on that career! Many times I gave a friendly good luck and thank you wave to the Navy F4s that flew low overland coming off their ships, always a welcome and thankful sight. I would also be sure to take a minute to watch the AF versions (and Navy) taking off in pairs on the 10,000' foot runway in DaNang whenever I was there. No restrictions - let 'em rip! Awesome.
