I'm a mechanic, working mainly on competition cars (rally and circuit racing). A few years ago i looked after 944's in our local 944 Challenge Cup racing and a 968CS in Tarmac Rally Trim.

Getting back into Porsches with a 944 S2 .
Welcome to Carpokes Ian !

Great choice for a Porsche... not that I'm biased or anything ;)

Hi: My name is Terry and Ive had my one and only Porsche for 27 years. It is a 75 911S that was sitting in the back of a garage waiting on being repaired (sick CIS) Owners wife wanted a new kitchen and I wanted a 911. I lived north of Boston at the time and did a complete tear down and rebuild using the late Bruce Anderson's book as a guide. Note that this was pre-internet. Yes I was an early rennlist member and enjoyed the early days of that list and Porsche files before that. Now retired and living in SW Florida. Found as time went on that I wasn't using the car much here in Florida and wanted to use it rather than sell it. To that end I've relocated the car to my summer residence in Northern MI with the hope of driving it while I still can.

Hello Carpokes.
New here. I saw the Panorama ad in my March 24 (page 22) edition that arrived today.
Current Porsche is a 2008 Porsche Boxster S Design Edition 2. My first Porsche was a1973 914. I loved that car, but I sold it to purchase a 1971 911T. (Do I ever wish I still had that car)…
Sold to restore and trailer a few Toyota FJ40’s behind the RV with my growing family.
Enjoying the Boxster immensely and I was excited to find this refreshing take on Porsche forums.
