Current Porsche is a 2008 Porsche Boxster S Design Edition 2. My first Porsche was a1973 914. I loved that car, but I sold it to purchase a 1971 911T. (Do I ever wish I still had that car)…
Sold to restore and trailer a few Toyota FJ40’s behind the RV with my growing family.
Enjoying the Boxster immensely and I was excited to find this refreshing take on Porsche forums.

First fell in love with Porsche cars in the early 80's when my older brother bought a Tangarine colored 1968 912. We ended up test-driving a 2005 Cayenne just by chance back in 2010 when we were looking to move on from my VW Passat TDI (another car I should not have parted with) as our family was growing. I still remember the solid feel of the door closing, the responsive throttle and the excellent handling for a SUV. Afterwards, no other car compared. My Mother in Law still drives that 2005 Cayenne (though it's seen better days now).
