Hi Dwight! Nice background story and cool cars!

I spent a good number of years near your mid-MI area at one point in my life. (A2, Ypsi and Downriver before that.) Was back that way for a visit a couple of years ago. Made a day trip to Lansing for a specific errand.

Anyway, welcome to Carpokes! Glad you found the site and joined the group!

I have a 2016 911S Carrera Cabriolet. My car does not have a rear back-up camera incorporated into my onboard digital display control center (DDCC). It is feasible to retrofit a DDCC into my car? If so, what would be the cost? I am looking for a factory type product and have concerns about aftermarket systems.

Welcome to Carpokes!

This is our new member check-in site and I think your question might be better served on the "All Things Porsche" or the "991/991" sub-forum where more might see it.

Create a new topic at one of those two sub-forums and post your question there as I think it will help.

Meanwhile, here's a bit of a discussion regarding backup cameras for Caymans/Boxters:

I purchased my first sports car in 1973 when I was 18. It was a 1973 TR6, white, black interior and top. I had the TR6 for 23 years. My second convertible was a 2003 BMW Z4, 2.5. The Z4 was Merlot with a tan interior and black top. I owned the Z4 for 20 years. I finally acquired my ultimate convertible and “bitchin ride.” I found a 2016 Porsche 911S Carrera Cabriolet. It is metallic Agate Agate Grey a black top and black interior. It is a 3.8 naturally aspirated car. When I purchased it it had 6,700 miles. I absolutely love this car.
