New to Carpokes but not Porsches. I've owned/built fifteen 944 turbos, a 968, and a couple 911s over the years. My current 944 is a 1986 turbo chassis with carbon fiber widebody and LT1 V8 swap. I also love MKiV Toyota Supras. I built a few single turbo 6 speeds over the years. My current blue one is pictures below.
Very cool. What instrument cluster is that, with nothing at the bottom of the tach? I can see why you are here -- that interior is begging for the 911-style gauges!
Tom, the car already had the LT1 swap done when I got it. It appears the cluster was changed when the swap was done. Assuming to eliminate the boost gauge. From what i can tell its from a 91 or later S2 because it also has a check engine light.

All of the 924-968's are covered here with quite a bit of background and history and a lot of do it yourself members. Check out all of them as you might find something unexpected in the 968 or 944 Turbo posts. I have an 89 Turbo and always seem to find information in all the groups that apply to mine! Welcome!

Hello,
New owner of a 2009 987.2 Cayman, joined PCA and now this group. I am a long time driver at HPDE in my E46 M3 BMW, will be taking the Cayman to Lime Rock Park in a few weeks for it's first track event to see how it compares to what I'm use to driving!

I think you will love the car on track - wonderful balance plus loads of fun! Let us know your impressions after good laps.
We have a Racing sub-forum, so please check it out. Feel free to start a thread there about your Cayman on the circuit. There are also some track picture and track video threads there that you can post to.
Welcome to Carpokes!
