Mentioned Carpokes at a PCA event this weekend

200 new members 26 days. Not bad.

Crazy that 71eh just changed the banner to read 5200 members and before the end of February ( sure it is a few days away ) we are already over 5300 and on our way to 5400 members! The word is out, Carpokes is a fun and easy going place to sprechen Porsche !

Tom can't keep up with how many members we are getting! ha.

Whenever you need a new header, just email me I think I made ones for 5300, but not 5400...

Yes, I'm slacking on the banner -- it is indeed hard to keep up! I might get to work on adding a dynamic speedometer/odometer on the banner with post and member counts. . If so, I might come back to the well for help with the base graphics on that

No more slacking Tom, you are only 15 members away from 5400 ..............can't you keep up with all these new members who found this laid back site where folks just want to talk Porsche and skip the drama, haha!!!

My bad, sorry. Maybe I'll make another request in tomorrow's newsletter for folks to invite their civil friends. I discovered a new and useful tip relating to 3D printing the other day and decided to share it on a facebook group. I was suddenly and forcefully reminded how nice it is here on Carpokes -- thanks to...well... everyone!

I am currently in the process of getting my own set of custom made puddle lights made for my 718, to match my car mats I had made. Mock up attached. Should have them in 2 weeks. White and Red colored puddle lights.

Maybe to celebrate the 6,000 member mark, you get some CARPOKES puddle lights made for your car, or someone on here. Would make a pretty cool video/picture!

Carpokes " March Madness " continues as we march past 5400 members on our way to 5500 and more. Amazing to see the growth happening here, but no wonder as so many want a Car Site where everyone is friendly and they just want to talk about their crazy love for an inanimate object elevated with four air filled rubber balloons ,ha!

As we sail past 5400, I'm mulling what to do when we get to 5500. Feel like doing more? No pressure at all, seriously. I think images of cars (or details thereof) in the slanted window are ok, but we probably need to steer clear of featuring any Porsche trademark (including the crest out of an abundance of caution -- even though I notice RL has used it for years as their tiny icon for web tabs, etc.). Maybe a pic of the Carpokes headquarter (garage) would be a cool change of pace? I'm also reasonably functional with Photoshop Elements if that's your tool of choice and would rather I modify your base file. In the longer run, I may implement a different front page scheme, but not quite there yet, so keeping the banners fresh is really helpful.
