Hopefully, it will complete production tomorrow. I would definitely contact your SA, as Eric has suggested, and request additional info as to why it is taking so long. Maybe just waiting on a part but, it would be nice to know for sure. Normal production takes one to two weeks.
Thanks for the tip on the hot wheels shark blue 2022 GT3.
I've been in touch with him pretty often for status without being annoying.
He's of the opinion that some of the exclusive options I picked which are done after the car leaves the normal production line would be attributing to the extended production time along with the sort of delays they're seeing from Porsche these days.
I've just reached out to him again to see if he has any other detail he can see on his end.

The actual assembly of the car takes two days on the line. Then, as you said, they take it to the exclusive shop where they remove and replace by hand the exclusive options ordered. Normally takes a week to two in total. Your GTS is being held for some reason, hopefully, just awaiting a part. I know that your SA can contact Atlanta and request an explanation.

I'll push him to contact Atlanta to get more details. I also just emailed someone at Porsche Customer Support that I'd dealt with before and asked them for an explanation. I'll let you know what I hear back. It's probably not going to move the car along any faster but it would be nice to know what's going on.

Mine did the same. Originally my freeze point was set to 2/1/22, then it started moving by days. Then when the ship that caught on fire, my dates moved by months. Then it started moving back to normal and it landed on 3/01 freeze point and everything so far has moved almost a week forward. I think that they are trying to compensate for the plant shut downs. By the way, how long are they planning on shutting down the plant for?
Eric
Just to clarify - Are you saying that once a milestone has actually been achieved (as my Freeze Point was) the "Actual Date of Milestone Completion" can change anyway? In hindsight, that would mean that I did not actually reach that milestone. I assumed that once you reached a milestone that particular date would not change, although all future milestones would continue to change. If an already reached / achieved milestone date can change then TYD is more unreliable than I anticipated.
I have also heard that the Stuttgart factory remains open and will continue to remain open for as long as possible. There are no fixed plans for a shutdown at this point but, that could change.
Yes Hawk , as far as I’m aware the Zuffenhausen plant it’s still operating at full capacity, I just got an email today that my GTS will start production soon, hopefully within next couple of weeks.

I'm kind of wondering if the thought of closing the factory was because of the two ingredients that happened, the boat catching on fire and the war? And now that Porsche sees that production is not getting interrupted by those, the factory remains open and operational? Just my 0.02 cents.

The potential shortage / supply of wiring harnesses, formerly from Ukraine, was the only issue that I am aware of that would have led to a factory closure. Cannot assemble a car without the wiring harness. All of the other shortages, e.g., PCCBs, would not have resulted in a closure. The sinking of the Felicity Ace and the need to replace all of the lost orders became more of an incentive to keep the factory operating at capacity.

My GTS is still showing it's in production with a CP8 completion date of tomorrow.
It's been allegedly in production since 2/14 which seems a really long time.
I'm betting the CP8 date gets pushed again but hoping it doesn't.
@murphsea Any update?

I heard today that Porsche is holding cars due to a shortage of both Burmeister and Bose amp parts. Bose shortage is apparently more severe than Burmeister.

Would be nice to know what option is holding up your car and give you the option to adjust the build.
