The gears are designed to work together to produce the right calibration. A gear with too many or two few teeth might bind and/or will produce inaccurate measurements. Your replacement odometer gear needs to have the same number of teeth as the original, unless you change the whole gear set.blueline wrote: Sat Dec 13, 2025 7:26 am Translation of spad944's post:

Mine has already been replaced with a metal one, however it seems the second gear in line is missing a tooth, and that's causing it to bind up every so often. Don't suppose anyone has modelled that one? If not, next time I have the cluster apart, I'll give it a go.
