What a tease , Tim tells us he has new 19 inch wheels , but doesn't tell us how wide they are? Then he mentions he has wider meats up front , but alas, he no longer mentions how wide. I am thinking he is just keeping secrets so when he shows up with really wide rubber we will all be intimidated! Gotta believe he might be slapping Indiana's finest on there and if they are A7s we will have confirmation he is going to pretend modesty when he fact he wants sheer dominance, ha!
Ahh, but it's all there in previous posts! Ya gotta search, Easter Egg hunts.
But since I'm a nice guy (and one who also realizes that finding obscure posts about odds and ends like that is not always easy), here ya go -
Apex 19" forged SM-10RS wheels 19" x 9" (front) & 19" x 11" (rear) with 265/35ZR19 up front and 295/35ZR19 holding up the back end, either MPSC2 or Hoosier R7's. (Or possibly A7's - I ran them exclusively for 10-years on the fine Z06 track machine. A7's may be constructed for AX but they sure are fun on a road course...)

Tim,
In the old internet days they would say pictures or it did not happen. Any pictures of the new wheel setup?

Well, sounds like my choice with Apex , but I am going with 18s since I don't get those giant pizza plate rotors up front. Heck, you probably have them ones that you need a second mortgage to replace or are you on steel speed stoppers?
Actually I am probably going with 10.5s wheels in the rear , but 9s in the front . I figure the 18s will give me even better gearing, and less cost on wheels and tires.
I have run A7s for years on autocross courses and when you do mount them out at the track, you have instant stick, and a Cheshire Cat smile as you blow by others!!

A new set of A7's on a road course are intoxicating - a drug, Should be illegal.
I'm running AP Racing's J-hook 2-piece rotors and Ferodo DS3.12 race pads from Essex, the U.S. importer.

They have an excellent YouTube channel - Jeff Ritter is very good.

You can probably buy from your fav race supplier (such as Discovery Parts for me) and if not a stock item, Essex drop ships.

Ferodo DS3.12 pads are on my shelf waiting to go on.
Plan to do two track days on a small track the first weekend of Oct, don't think I will need the fancy pads and the stock pads still have some life left. Mainly I want to burn up the used Cup2s I bought, and get seat time of course.

Decided to get an idea what the Cayman GTS would look like with all the proper decals for NASA and SCCA Time Trial Competition and to my surprise I had forgotten ........................magnetic vinyl will not stick to the doors or underneath and directly behind. After a little laugh on myself I decided to take a few shots of the problematic Porsche Decal Placement. It took around 10 seconds to decide we will go with the minimal requirements, keep it clean and simple. For PCA events I will just use vinyl numbers and call it good. But, yesterday Karma was present, though that will be apparent in the following post................
