With such a thin piece, my go-to solution would be a black sharpie. I've done that a million times on cars over the years. Haven't gotten many requests in raw aluminum yet, and we'd need to get to ten sets or the price per piece goes way up.Bob Z wrote: Fri Jan 06, 2023 1:13 pmNo, I tried that but it peels up on the rounded corners so I will have to paint the edges Satin Black.
Spyder owners: Anyone bothered by the holes...

I hope we get more that want raw aluminum, which in my opinion will be easier to match the surrounding area, whether one uses vinyl or paint.Tom wrote: Fri Jan 06, 2023 1:17 pmWith such a thin piece, my go-to solution would be a black sharpie. Understood. The black anodized piece should look at home in that spot, but it's obviously not an exact match for the surrounding area. If it comes to that, you could always paint/wrap the anodized version too, but fingers crossed we get across the line for both types.Bob Z wrote: Fri Jan 06, 2023 1:22 pmI hope we get more that want raw aluminum, which in my opinion will be easier to match the surrounding area, whether one uses vinyl or paint.Tom wrote: Fri Jan 06, 2023 1:17 pmWith such a thin piece, my go-to solution would be a black sharpie. If possible Tom, even if you do not get the minimum amount for the raw aluminum ones could you be talked into ordering them anyway? If so I promise to get buyers for them! I am continuing to get more members signed up here that are interested so I am sure they would sell fairly soon.

The raw ones would be bead blasted for a uniform surface. If needed, I could always bead blast a black set myself for those who really want raw aluminum -- if only 2 or 3 people want them. Would take 10 minutes in my blast cabinet. To help speed it along, it would help if everyone tried to get the word our wherever Spyder folks hang-out online (rules permitting of course). I'll order more than the minimum I posted anyway, to get the price down, so the minimums I picked already represented a small roll of the dice on my part... One way or another, I'm sure I can get you a raw set, but want to give it a few days before ordering to get a bit more critical mass going, and to gauge how far out on a limb I should go....Bob Z wrote: Sat Jan 07, 2023 6:40 am If possible Tom, even if you do not get the minimum amount for the raw aluminum ones could you be talked into ordering them anyway? Hello Everybody!
I'm new here. Coming from rennlist as well by Bob's suggestion.
I'm interested in a couple of pairs to be shipped to Italy.
Let me know if I have to send an email with a formal request.
Best regards
Matteo
