Maybe that's the answer and the intent of the question! (Were we paying attention? Maybe not. Lol)

Just joined. Carpokes, looks interesting. Hi everyone, my name is Nancy, I have a 2018 Boxster, my husband has a 2014 911. Quick question, has anyone else had problems with the fuel gauge dropping to empty. And what did you do about it?
Curiously, a fuel gauge dropping to empty just happened to my Audi A4. It was right after the battery got drained and I charged it back to normal. Guess I need to pull out the VCDS or OBDeleven and check for faults.

Oh yeah, been through this too. Super frustrating, ain't it? I just sorta learned to ignore the glitch. Tried a bunch of stuff, nada works all the time. It's kinda become a known issue, you ain't alone buddy! No real solution here, just some good ol' trial and error. Or clear the cache, that once worked for me, might help ya out. Dunno when they'll patch it, but hey - part of the journey, right? Until then, we just gotta roll with it.

That's quite the Porsche ownership history Allen - congrats on the journey that's approaching 50-years. Nice!
Hats off for the comment regarding your salesman at your dealership too. The exceptional ones are a valuable and helpful asset, especially when purchasing multiple Porsches over time.
Welcome to Carpokes!
