Kind of an unimportant question Tom, but where is the best place to acquire the M6 x 1.0 x 10mm bolts/washer sets that you use? Are they steel pan heads w/black oxide finish?
At some point, those of us who are removing the license plate often might lose a washer or a bolt. (Who, me? Never!)
Also, others buying your mounts might want a different color as you mentioned in your installation instructions. In any event, finding the same, high-quality "Tom Certified" bolts/screws and washers would be nice.

I'd love to say they were hand-forged in Ferdinand Porsche's basement, but they actually come from good ol' McMaster Carr.

They are M6 x 10mm x 1.0, so options are pretty much endless. If you get longer ones, just make sure they aren't so long that they hit the bumper. In addition to scratching the bumper, you can essentially press the mount off the bumper.

It's come to my attention that the instructions for these mounts still show a picture of the original 3D printed version. They are essentially the same, but don't have the 'carpokes' engraving on them, so I'm planning to update the instructions. In addition to branding, the 'carpokes' engraving helps ensure all the mounts are oriented correctly...
So.... for those with the solid ABS mounts on your car, can you post some pictures of the mounts as installed? I'm looking for a good picture or two to include in the revised instructions. Thanks.

Maybe these will do, at least until you get better ones. Lighting not very good, color inconsistent, phone pic quality lacking. (Would have been better to take pics in outside natural light.)

I just received my order, shipping was super quick. Only took 10-15 minutes to install them. They are high quality and they even look amazing as is, without the plate on. I love how the plate is raised away from the paint and can finally secure the license plate firmly!!
Here is a before and after shot and a close up of the mounts:
