@murphsea Yeah!!! Finally some TYD good news. Great to hear you are now moving ahead faster than the last estimates.

Wahoo! Can't wait for both of you to get your cars! I'd have to believe the 'in transit' status is more 'real' than the earlier estimated dates, right?

It should update tonight to say it’s at Emden port. That’s usually just a day.

The next ship from Emden that stops at Baltimore port where my car is heading for is the Siem Confucius.
It docks at Emden on the 14th so it would be awesome if it gets on that boat.

Fingers crossed.

My first new 911 back in 2019 only sat at Emden for 1 day. My Taycan sat there for 5 weeks. Who knows what will happen this time.

Tom I really do hate to be cynical but one never knows with TYD. Sean's estimated arrival in Emden is 4/15. Could that change???

What I can tell you is that my GT3 is still making no progress at all. My prior so called milestone "completed dates" have changed many times and keep getting moved forward (even though they were "completed" several weeks ago). My future milestone estimated dates of completion get delayed and moved forward at the same time. I am still not in production.

My SA told me last week that a couple of his 2022 GT3's have just been pushed to MY 2023 with September production dates. Mine (so far) is not one of them.

Looking at my Production Completed step and it never got an actual completion date but Ready For Transport completed on 4/11. My SA texted me on Saturday to say my car had exited production but TYD didn’t update until this morning.

Hopefully, it's smooth sailing from here. I think the supply shortages (wiring harnesses, chips, PCCBs, etc.) are the major obstacles to actually getting the cars through production. Once completed it should progress more smoothly. 🤞

Mine has been at Emden since 3/28, was supposed to be on a ship by 4/8, but still showing at the port. I wonder if my app hasn't updated and my car is already on a ship???

I want my car.

It's a definite possibility. Sometimes takes a few days for TYD to update after ship actually departs Emden.
