Location: Syracuse, NY

Current fun cars: 1987 944 base NA, 5 speed, Black.

Occupation: Retired, was Director of Engineering.

First Porsche: 1983 944 base NA, 5 speed, Sierra Brown.

Have had many different sports cars in my past, 1 at a time, like the (3) Corvettes, a Mercedes Kompressor coupe, Audi TT MK1 (stage 2-built), an Audi A5 -APR tuned and now sporting my 2nd 944 I bought just before retirement for something to play with old & slow like me. Finally PPSEL (not current) and my ultimate toy: For 4.5 years I home built my RV6 aircraft flew for 10 years, sold in 2010 to an Embraer Flight Test Engineer and exported it to Brazil, it truly was my supercar in the sky! It fit in the hanger well along with the 1983 944 those days

Wecome aboard! Love the cars and much respect for building and flying the RV6! I took lessons in a Katana many years ago and it had a similar look -- though nowhere near the performance I'm sure.

Edit: memories are rose colored I guess. Just looked up the old Katana and, although it had a similar configuration, I fear I just compared my Pinto to your Pantera. ;)

Great looking cars and plane David - Welcome.
Went to college in Syracuse. So many great memories there. Was fun being close to Watkins Glen back in the IMSA days.

Cheers!
