I remember when 914's first arrived stateside. Being steeped in big V8 power, I didn't yet understand how a weeny 4 cylinder motor combined with Lotus lightness could create an enthralling driving experience. I came to understand, and have since owned four Super Sevens, a Lotus Exige and many other lightweights. I may keep the ones I own now (see signature) until I can no longer drive: Two are 2,400 pounds, and the Lola is about 2,000, so it seems my needle swung all the way in the opposite direction.
I like your description of your car. Condition seems concours - is it as unblemished as it appears in the photos? Is that you behind the wheel? If so, please add some Ensure to your diet!

Yes I recently restored the 914 LE creamsicle all original except adding a passenger side mirror. Have not yet entered it a Concourse event but I am sure it would do very well .
