Hi JHWOODY14 and good to have you amongst us. Back in the 70s, a number of those in my circle of confreres lusted after the BMW 2002tii, but I soon gravitated to the 914 in all its permutations. This (carpokes) is a great new venue to discuss Porsche things, so welcome and hopefully we'll be hearing more from you! I would suspect that not a fair share of us are also retired (I am, as well)...more time to have fun with Porsches, LoL!

Hi
First Porsche: When I graduated from college traded in my BMW 1800 sedan for new a 1974 914 1.8 canary yellow, brown interior.
Fun cars to drive: We also I have 2015 Audi TFI (Diesel) we love the car and for a turbo diesel it has great acceleration. We also have a 2020 Macan S which we love as well.

In 1978 sold my 914 and bought from the original owner a 1974 911S Carrera which I still own. Just finished with the restoration, including engine rebuild, suspension updates rust repair etc. Car runs.
Welcome to Carpokes

Greetings, came for the wire stripping tool. Always admired Porsches. Could see myself restoring a 911. Far cry from the DelSol I did. Maybe you started something…

Welcome aboard! Great to have another long-time Porsche lover. Would love to see the Carrera!
