How do I post a new topic? I just registered but I can't find the 'new topic' button. I have many questions about purchasing a 2017 Macan GTS.
One other bit of advice for starting any new topic - be sure to fill in the 'Subject' line - it's easy to overlook. Your post will not publish without something in the subject line.
Welcome to Carpokes!
No kidding? I honestly had no idea, though it make sense now that you say it!
And welcome aboard dief123!

It's definitely the case for new PMs as I've done it before and they are of similar structure to new thread topics on phpBB. I vaguely remember encountering it early on when I lost a new thread I was starting due to not entering a subject line. I think I'm correct!

I had forgotten that there was a warning dialogue box. (IIRC, there is no warning if posting a new PM without a subject line - the message just disappears into a black hole.)
Considering the warning message for new forum threads, I don't think my advise to dief123 was necessary. Lol. (Better safe than sorry, right?

Hello from San Francisco Bay Area! Bought my first Porsche, a Carrara White 2012 Cayman 2.9L with 25k miles, in February. So far I've put 7k miles on it driving all the local backroads.
Some mods I've done - sport chrono software retrofit, 18" forged Apex wheels, OEM 991.2 GT sport steering wheel w/ heating + multi-function + magnetic paddles, custom PDK shifter boot and knob, clear engine cover, LED interior and license plate lights, R-style instrument cluster cowl delete, custom voltage + oil temp + water temp gauge, carplay module + reverse camera, 718-style LED taillights, and radiator grilles.
Looking into retrofitting Cayman R aerokit + suspension and installing a third radiator and PDK cooler.
Happy to post more pics of the car or any mods if there is interest. Thanks for having me!

Wow! Lots of mods - very nice!! I love to see the individualization and personalized touches that so many do to their Porsches (and other makes too). You'll find what others have done here, especially in the 718 threads, so check them out if you have a minute.
Pics - yes! We love photos on Carpokes, so post away - no 3rd party app needed.
A link to Tom's handy PPG (pic posting guide) here if needed.

Beautiful color for a Cayman (white), in my opinion! It's a lovely specimen and certainly sounds like you've taken the beast into your wheeled herd with enthusiasm! Aside from the fact that in my opinion the Cayman is one of the best Porsche styles/designs to come out of their salon, the white color (to me, at least) bespeaks a high level of good taste and aesthetics; the Cayman design lends itself to enhancement in a white body color! Love to see some images of it, when convenient, so that the rest of us can (vicariously) drool over it a bit, LoL!
Welcome. I'm an old East Bay guy, myself (Berzerkeley) but was born in and lived in SFO for a number of years, back in the 50s, when it was perhaps one of the most charming and picturesque Pacific locales in California! Those were good times!
Cheers!
