Floor will be done today. Color chips are going on as I type. It will still be a few days until everything cures. Cabinets are supposed to be here next week. News at 11

The chips are fun! (And they will look fantastic too.)

I have a semi cool pastel colored fender guitar collection I’d love to display in the garage but with the 75F dew points and pollen etc I wouldn’t dare… it would go perfect with the surfboard theme tho… dang!!

That’s really nice… get some framed pics up and they’ll just pop on those walls

the guys I jam with said we should have a session in the "new" garage. I wouldn't leave any of my gear out there. Too hot, too humid and my music room is air conditioned....

Add a mini-split heat pump to your garage. Makes it bearable for lots of things, including those jam nuts.

my financial advisor responded with an emphatic NO when I suggested this.

Hmmmm. Bet I know who the financial advisor might be!

However, dr bob's suggestion is compelling. A mini-split takes care of a LOT of hot, cold and/or damp garage ills and will save money in the end. (That last part is important when trying to sway a financial advisor. Saving money! Also important, patience and gentle persuasion.)

No more rusted tools, cars are preserved better, dog food or other perishables fare much better, a fridge in the garage is more efficient, people and pet health is preserved, computers and tech gear works better and is happier, musical instruments will stay nice, sanity in the garage is maintained. (Give me time, I'll think of more Money Saving Attributes.)

Mine is a Samsung and it is awesome.
